This is the official-unofficial source of contact for me while I am in China. Through this ‘blog’ (if that’s what you want to call it) I will be posting updates and photos of my experience. Please let it be known that I am historically inconsistent with ambitions like this so do not fret if I stop posting for days or weeks at a time. I am optimistic about this trip and don’t forsee any grand threats to my health or wellbeing (watch these words come back to haunt me!)
My plane reservation is confirmed for July 5th. I get to celebrate the Independence Day of a great country and fly to another the next day. Hell yeah! It is a 23 hour travel time and I’ll be flying to Haikou Airport in Hainan, China. A long, introspective, and exciting year awaits…
